Occasionally I do like dessert drinks, although I typically go for just a simple cordial. I have been a fan of Patron XO Cafe for a while now, so the Summer/Fall I was living in Georgia when I found there was a Patron XO Cafe Dark Cocoa I had to try it.
It is, of course, delicious. So since I had it on hand, I thought I’d try a recipe that calls for it that I came across on Pinterest. The Pin is here, but the website it links to appears to be no longer operational unfortunately. I tried this recipe on September 23, 2012.
1 1/2 ounces rum
2 1/2 ounces coffee-flavored liqueur
4 ounces cola
1 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
Fill a highball glass with ice, pour in rum and coffee liqueur, swirl gently, and fill glass with soda. Drop in the tsp of condensed milk and stir slowly until the drink turns a milky brown.
Very tasty! An excellent use of the XO Cafe Dark Cocoa.
