Drink Recipe – Holiday in Holland Cocktail

This was a second attempt after the Five Points didn’t turn out so well, and ended up much better. From September 11, 2012 in Savannah, GA. I’m fairly certain that this was also from New Amsterdam’s Facebook page but, again, could not find any record of it online now.

Holiday in Holland Cocktail

2 ounces gin

1 ounce simple syrup (or agave nectar or liquefied honey)

half a lime cut into 8 pieces

Muddle lime pieces in a shaker, add remaining ingredients, shake, and pour into a cocktail glass over ice.

I made these right in the glasses rather than dirty a shaker too. They were delicious! I used simple syrup, though I bet this would be good with liquefied honey or agave nectar as well.
